Everyone I talked to were so nice and welcoming. I got there early and I had a document to fill out but was seen before I could even complete it. Which means barely any wait time. All the doctors I spoke with were amazing. The staff is great. I haven’t been to the doctor in a few years and I felt so comfortable with everyone. It was such an ideal situation all around!

Quick and efficient check-in as a new patient. Below average wait time. Friendly nursing staff. Excellent, informative and thorough exam by Dr. Barrett and her attending resident Dr. Montgomery. Both doctors made me feel comfortable, heard, and taken care of especially since I was anxious visiting a new physician in a new practice after a long period of time since my last exam.

She grew up in a suburb of Denver and graduated from University of Colorado, Boulder in 2002 with a B.S. in Journalism and Mass Communications with an emphasis in Advertising; she quickly moved to Los Angeles where she worked in Corporate America until she could not ignore her calling to become a physician any longer. After moving back to Denver, she began working towards her goal and completed her pre-requisites for medical school at University of Colorado, Denver. She then completed her medical degree at Rocky Vista University and attended residency at Skyridge Medical Center/Rocky Vista University. Dr. Barrett is board certified in Internal Medicine and has been practicing medicine since 2016. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, traveling and as a self-proclaimed foodie, she enjoys cooking, baking, and trying new restaurants.

I’ve been looking for a PCP and a recent knee issue gave me good reason to find one. I chose Dr. Barrett because of her reviews, proximity to my home and her specialized care. She was great! So personable, engaged and real. She listened, provided advice and was really great to work with. I enjoyed that she was real and was able to converse on a personal level. I’m going back in a few weeks and will continue to see her. I would highly recommend.

She's great and hasn't made me feel uncomfortable or judged ever, plus she has given me great referalls for other doctors that I needed to see as well. Definitely recommend her!!

Dr. Barrett and her staff were so pleasant during my annual checkup! They made me feel cared for and informed about my health every step of the way. Dr. Barrett was was kind and considerate, always making me aware of what she was doing during the examination and asking if I wanted to include certain checkups that weren't required but recommended -- she never made me feel pressured. I enjoyed my time with her! Special shout out to the blood draw tech, Lewis, who made the nerve-racking task of getting blood drawn not only bearable but almost downright fun!

I would not recommend this provider or office to anyone. While the provider was friendly, I did not get any medical advice, recommendations, or follow-up from them. I waited two days for the test results and decided to call the office myself to get the results. I called about 6 times and left two voicemails before calling the front office to ask about my results. The office staff said the Dr and their MA were out. I had to call back the next day to get a half-answer from the student. No real results or call back from the doctor. I also was referred to a specialist and it was been one week and the specialist has not received the referral from this doctor.

Dr. Barrett was recommended by a friend so I did my initial consult with her. She went over my medical history, came up with a plan to get me caught up on all my exams and screenings, and provided me referrals immediately to specialists. So impressed, I scheduled my wellness exam with her and I will continue to visit her for my medical needs.

I had been on the hunt for new primary doctor for some time and everywhere I called was not accepting new patients. I was able to go on ZocDoc and schedule a next-day appointment with a new provider and felt comfortable with her and the exam/questions that were asked. I did have to wait a really long time between being asked to put on a robe and the time the doctor came in, but once she was in the room she gave her full attention and discussed my concerns thoroughly. I felt heard and understood and am confident I am in good hands!

Dr. Barrett was AMAZING! Not only was she warm and kind, but a fantastic listener. She didn’t rush through the appointment; I could tell she really wanted to get to the bottom of the issue and find the solution rather than just get through it quickly and send me on my way. Wonderful experience from the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out! Lovely staff! From the front desk to MA to provider! I arrived 15 minutes early, as requested, was taken back almost immediately, and Dr. Barrett entered my exam room exactly at my scheduled appointment time! Would not go back. Was treated as my symptoms instead of as a person. The doctor would not listen to anything I said about prior treatment, considering her knowledge superior to the doctors I’ve seeing for the last 8 years and established my current care methods with. First - know that Dr. Barrett is a PCP! Not a gyno, dermatologist, etc (although she may be listed as that on zodoc, they're having issues fixing what it says). She is a PCP.
Second, I am so glad to have found Dr. Barrett. I just moved here and was super nervous because I've gone to some egregiously unkind doctors. But everyone I encountered in this office was so genuine, attentive and knowledgable. Mostly women worked there which made me personally feel really safe and comfortable. Everyone listened and validated my concerns, helped formulate a plan moving forward and scheduled my follow up. Cannot even tell you how relieved I feel to have found a PCP + team who listens and will work with me to figure out what's going on.
