I had a virtual video visit with Dr Huang due to social distancing recommendations to protect patients from Coronavirus. Our video appointment started on-time and was sufficient for my 6 month follow up. Dr. Huang is really responsive to questions, thoroughly addressing my concerns. Immediately after my appointment, I received a text message from the office notifying me that she sent my prescription refill order to my pharmacy. Super-efficient!

She is very through with my thyroid condition. Prompt to follow up with my imaging scan results. I have been seeing her for two years. She is much better than my Kaiser doctors.

I had the first appointment of the day and she was late! Hello I have a job! She spoke to me as if I knew all about the thyroid gland and I did not this was my first appointment with an endo doctor. Sent me off for a sono and never called me with results instead she had the cna call and tell me to have a biopsy. WHAT! Never returning!

This was my first visit but I think the only thing I found odd was recommending I go to my GP for to get an order for an X-ray and I need a reference but won't write me one unless they ask for it, then I have to come back to her. I'm not use to this happening and maybe it's just me but it would seem to slow diagnosis and treatment down.

The doctor was very nice and had good bedside manners but I was not really happy about the information I got about my Hashimoto disease. The waiting time was really bad, I had an appointment but waited 2 hours to be seen by a doctor, first 1.5 hours in the waiting room and then 30 min in the exam room, that is unacceptable! And I got no explanation or apologies that the doctor is running late, that was extremely inconsiderate.
