I travel around the country quite a bit and have had many doctors. Dr. Buchner found some gaps in my diagnostic history and treatment that other doctors had not noticed. He seems up to date and very astute - I highly recommend him.

Dr. Buchner is amazing! He came to my house at 6pm right on time and was very personable. I definitely will be scheduling another appointment with him for a follow up. He is very sweet and spoke about other medical information that was interesting to me! Great doctor!

Dr. William Buchner grew up in Northern Michigan on a large family run dairy farm. He was involved in leadership roles in multiple student organizations and graduated valedictorian of his high-school class.
He attended Michigan Technological University and studied Biology and Chemistry with an emphasis on education. He was the president of MTU’s Film Board and tutor at the Chemistry Learning Center. While attending college he volunteered at the community hospital and worked as a pharmacy technician.
After graduating Suma Cum Lade, he taught high school science at Lakeview High School for 2 years. He gave presentations at inservice meetings about new philosophies in grading and evaluating students.
Dr. Buchner then attended Wayne State University’s School of Medicine in Detroit. WSU is America’s largest single campus medical school. While studying, he participated in an extracurricular program called HuMed which focused on alternative medical practices to heal and comfort patients in ways that are not typically taught in Western Medicine.
Dr. William Buchner was matched to his 1st choice Family Medicine Residency Program at UCSD in 2008. He did additional elective rotations in dermatology and HIV care.
After completing residency and attaining Board Certification in Family Medicine, he worked at Sharp Rees-Stealy Medical Group for four years. During this time he did continuing education in the fields of HIV management, dermatology and hormone replacement to help better serve the patient’s he cared for.
Putting his past experiences together, he teamed up with Collective Revolution in designing and implementing Sockdolager Medical Group, a new standard of healthcare for patients seeking results and exceptional services.

Dr. Buchner was awesome. Took time to get a lot of important information and suggested some great things. He's a younger Doctor so I think the type of medicine he's into practicing seems like a more holistic approach rather than just pushing pharma, like other Dr's can sometimes do. Highly recommended! Compassionate, professional and clearly explains things!

I have 1 working hand right now, so this will be short. The doc and the nurse, both, were nice, friendly, personable and very professional. Did a lot more for me than Kaiser did, learned more and left way less stressed out than when I came in because they actually let me know what was wrong or could be wrong and ran tests.

Dr. Buckner went over my blood work and made it easy for me to understand the areas where I need treatment. He wants to fix the problems and not just put a band-aid on them so he didn't just send me home with a bunch of prescriptions. He never seems rushed so if I don't understand something he makes sure Im comfortable with his diagnoses. I feel like I get better educated about my body with each appointment.

I was happily impressed. I have several "issues" that need investigating and so far Dr. Buchner seems to be a good candidate for the job. He was very knowledgeable in regards to the health concerns I discussed with him and presented information in a way that was easily understandable (no physicianese). I look forward to working with Dr. Buchner as we explore my "issues" further. Oh, he was also wearing a bow tie. He gets extra points for that alone.

This doctor is the most amazing person. He genuinely cared about what was going on with my asthma and went out of his way to make sure I was on the road to recovery. I went to see him two days later for another follow up appointment and he went above and beyond anything I could imagine. Without this doctor I would not be on the road to recovery and probably would have been in the ER or hospital.

Dr. Buchner is a great doctor!! He used to work for sharp and left to start his own practice, I definitely had to follow him!! He's the kind of doctor whose office you walk out of thinking and knowing he took care of you. Everytime I see him in clinic he is VERY thorough and makes sure to rule everything out that causes a particular symptom. He's very personable and down to earth so he makes it easy to address questions and/or concerns and he takes his time to listen. I trust him as my doctor and he's not a text book Doctor that will diagnose just because you're showing classic symptoms. He will explain and investigate issues or health concerns that are not normal. That's something that every patient can appreciate!

I visited the doctor's office on Sunday as scheduled but due to long weekend holiday, somehow they weren't able to get the keys to the office and I had to return back. But the doctor's assistant Mr Sean apologized and the doctor made a home visit and diagnosed my problem and prescribed the medicines to the pharmacy which is very nice.

Excellent! Dr. Buchner is one of the best doctors I have seen in the past 10 years. He always is willing to communicate with me and have a conversation.
