Dr. Foote is lovely. He has wonderful bedside manner. I felt instantly comfortable with him, he was very easy to talk to, and he was very knowledgeable. His office staff is also responsive and willing to assist with any issues that may arise.

William Foote is an experienced psychiatrist engaged in alternative methods located in San Francisco, CA. He graduated from Loma Linda University and completed his residency at Oakland Naval Hospital. He trained further through an internship at San Diego Naval Hospital.
Dr. Foote maintains a private practice where he combines transpersonal approaches such as the use of paranormal, transcultural sensitivity, and the metaphysical in addition to psychopharmacological techniques to achieve results. His main goal is to quickly and fully engage patients in their own healing processes. He treats a wide spectrum of issues and disorders on an out-patient basis.

I just moved to the Bay Area and was really nervous about finding the right psychiatrist. I’m new to therapy but after one visit I wanted to give him a hug. He makes you feel so comfortable. I feel a huge weight lifted off my shoulders and I can’t wait to visit him again.

I have been going to therapy on and off since age 8, and no doctor has helped me like this man. If you need someone to help you with your meds and incorporate DBT into your mindfulness practice, he is your man.

He provides compassion so I can heal & accept old wounds. He challenges me with insight so I can continue to move forward with more balance. He manages my medications so I am more equipped for life's many challenges. I recommend Dr. Foote to any & all patients seeking mental health care.

Beyond excellent! Dr. Foote is high versed in the various schools of psychology, and he is a wizard at using what works. Besides his excellent education and years of experience, he also offers wisdom and deep compassion, both rare these days. As a person in the mental health field I can confidently say he is a diamond. His help in my learning to deal with my issues has been fantastic. Want excellent help - go see him!
