William E. Morris, M.D., F.A.C.S. is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist and Eye Surgeon, who has served the residents of Metropolitan Washington, Maryland and Virginia for more than thirty (30) years. After graduation from The University of Austin, Texas, he attended Howard University, College of Medicine Washington, DC and obtained his medical degree in 1968. He then completed an internship and residency in Ophthalmology at Walter Reed General Hospital Washington, DC.
Dr. Morris served as a Fellow of the International Eye Foundation, in Lima, Peru. Other experience include; a Heed Foundation Fellowship in in anterior segment surgery at the Washington Eye Center of The Washington Medical Center, Washington, D.C. Dr. Morris is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology. Member of American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and member of National Medical Association. He has been in private practice since 1976 and specializes in cataract and implant surgery and evaluation and treatment of glaucoma.
