More about Dr. William Tuer, MD
Dr. William F.P. Tuer grew up in Canada, and was educated at the University of Toronto, where he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine. Following this he did an internship and a pediatric residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New York. He then began a career with the Army. Dr. Tuer completed his Allergy/Immunology training at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. in 1985. Dr. Tuer is Board Certified in both Pediatrics and Allergy/Immunology. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. A Fellow of the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and a member of the European Academy of Clinical Immunology.
In addition to practicing Allergy/Immunology; Dr. Tuer commanded an evacuation hospital in Saudi Arabia during the Gulf War, and he was in charge of the Army Hospital and network of clinics in Panama. He is bilingual.
