I had a great visit with Dr. Constable last night. She was very attentive and spent extra time with me to listen to a specific concern I had.
Dr. Constable is extremely warm and made me feel very comfortable although I was a bit nervous to be at the doctors. I would highly recommend her and will be continuing to see her in the future.

Dr. Winifred Constable is the director and owner of an independent primary care practice located in the center of the Main Line. Her practice cares for adults ages 14 and older. The philosophy of her practice is that a small office setting, where both the staff and the doctor truly know you, far outweigh the typical large practice environment where taking care of patients has become a very impersonal process. She cares best for her patients when she really gets to know them personally, and can spend adequate time discussing their issues.
Being a doctor is what Dr. Constable finds most rewarding in life. She has practiced medicine for over 25 years, and she cares greatly about her patients. She believes that caring for her patients not only consists of treating for active medical problems, but also spending time to discuss preventative care; this helps to protect patients from becoming sick and staying healthy.
Dr. W. Constable is trained in Internal Medicine, with subspecialty training in Bariatric Medicine, the science of obesity. Besides practicing in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, she continues to do missionary work in Uganda, Africa. Here she travels to remote villages where there is little or no access to medical care, sets up clinics, and treats some of the poorest people on earth. She has set up her own foundation to assist in the cost of medications for these missions.

Not only did she not address the concerns that I had come in with, but she also rushed through the appointment. My insurance didn't go through, so I paid for the visit. Her offices then also billed my insurance incorrectly, and now it's a mess. I would not recommend her.

I barely had ANY waiting around time like your typical doctor's office. The receptionist Sue is probably the nicest lady I've met in a long time. Dr. Constable is kind and understanding.

I was pleasantly surprised to actually experience (With Dr. Constable) what I was hoping to experience at a doctor's office:
1. A visit to a lovely, quite, clean office.
2. NO WAITING! Ready to be seen at my scheduled appointment time!
3. A "Marcus Welby' visit with Dr. Constable!
She came out to the reception area, warmly greeted me, and took me back to the examination room - herself. SHE weighed me and took my blood pressure!
I wasn't handed off to an intern, med student, or nurses aide.
I sat and talked with Dr. Constable (with no time restrictions).
She wanted to know about ME. That "unheard of" practice of getting to know your patient. And she told me about herself, and her way of treating people. Although it was my first visit - I left Dr. Constable's office feeling happy, relieved, and fully satisfied.
She has that good, old fashioned bed side manor that most doctors have abandoned. I instantly liked Dr. constable and more importantly, trusted her and her way of practicing medicine.
NO MORE being treated like a number.
NO MORE waiting a hour(+) to see my Doctor, just to be told he/she is out or busy, but my Dr.'s med student will be examining me.#CRAZY!
I highly reccomend Dr. Constable, and have recommened Dr. Constable to my husband! :)

As always, Dr Constable is great. She always listens intently and gives a great range of options. Her office is in a cute little converted house near BM hospital. Convenient, clean, professional, easy etc.... Can't say enough good things about this practice

I rarely take the time to write these reviews but Dr Constable was so fabulous I felt I had to. She was incredibly knowledgable, patient and thorough. The office is comfortable and clean, in a cute little converted house, and the staff was professional and friendly. I think it's rare to find such good service in healthcare these days. I would highly recommend her.
