Dr. Pang is a board certified internal medicine physician. With Infectious Diseases training in the past, she has also become a Hepatitis B specialist. Coming from a family of doctors, she always knew that was a career she wanted to pursue. At the age of 18, Dr. Pang was one of the few chosen by the prestigious Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education in New York City, eventually graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree and Magna Cum Laude honors in Biomedical Sciences. She went onto medical school training at SUNY Downstate, one of the biggest and busiest trauma centers in Brooklyn, NY. It was there she got most of her hands on clinical training and where her passion for internal medicine, Hepatitis B, was ignited.
After Dr. Pang completed internal medicine residency training at Beth Israel Medical Center in lower east side Manhattan, she was offered an infectious diseases fellowship at the same hospital. With the help of her distinguished professors, she was able to publish posters on important clinical issues such as Hepatitis B, infection control measures in preventing Clostridrium difficile in the hospital, and present it at the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA).
In the past 20 years of her professional career, Dr. Pang has served in various medical roles, including Chief physician in some of the busiest medical centers in the city.
She is a member of the Chinese American Independent Practice Association, Chinese American Medical Society, American College Of Physicians. She is also an affiliate staff at Maimonides Medical center and NY Presbyterian Downtown Hospital.

I'm not sure who all these other reviewers saw, but it must have been a very different doctor from the one who treated me. Dr. Pang took no time to discuss my concerns with me beyond offering to refer me to specialists (which her office actually couldn't do because they only had one relevant specialist they referred people to and he didn't take my insurance). When I was upset by an unexpected weight gain, rather than asking me any questions about my diet or exercise regime she offered to refer me to a nutritionist (despite this weight gain, I am extremely fit and my NEW PCP doctor has assured me I have a 'perfect' BMI. A nutritionist probably would have laughed in my face). She also scolded me for the failure of her own colleagues to share my medical information with her. Additionally, when I booked the appointment, her staff failed to inform me that I would need to fast overnight, making it necessary for me to schedule another appointment (with a NEW PCP doctor). The appointment was extremely rushed, despite the fact that her waiting room was nearly empty. If you're looking for a medical professional who cares about her patients' well-being, I highly recommend looking elsewhere.

I have never written up a review for a doctor before, but my experience with Dr. Pang was so awesome I had to. I made a deep research to find a new primary care doctor that was near my area that open on weekends. That was almost impossible to find, let alone being a good doctor that actually listens to your concerns. After a few hours I stumble upon a review for Dr. Pang, not only did people say good things about her, she took my insurance and she was opened on Sundays.... Whattt??? I could not believe it. For years I have tried to find a doctor that was open on weekends to work around my schedule and it was almost impossible. This was too good to be true. So I decided to give it a try and judge by my experience. I arrived on a Sunday morning and I have nothing but good things to say. The place was nice and clean, the staff was friendly and to my surprise they spoke clear English. You see, I have an accent myself and usually when I have been to a Chinese doctor it is very hard to communicate with them because they cannot really understand me or vice versa making it very hard for me to explain the staff and the doctors what the issues are. However this was not a problem the girls at the front were super nice and answer all of my questions very politely adn Dr. Pang was simply AMAZING. I have never had a doctor who took her time with you to examine you and feel real concern your health. She provided me with a really good service and gave me a full check up without rushing me out of the office like other doctors do.
I love this place I have made her my primary care. I really recommend her if you want a doctor that cares and listens to you.

Between figuring out if my insurance was accepted by Dr. Pang, I visited the office several times. Each time the staff was professional and courteous. Dr. Pang was attentive and answered all the questions that I had for her. Overall I would highly recommend Dr. Pang and her staff.

Hands down amazing... Listens when I speak didn't have a cold I'm the dr your the pt what I say is it NO ABSOLUTLEY NOT she listened to what I had to say and gave me her recommendation showed concern in what needed attention and what I felt needed attention let alone her medical assistant is an angel. This doctor is extremely cold and sarcastic. I did not like her bedside manner at all. She really came off as disrespectful.
Additionally, for a specific procedure, she did not warn me that she was going to take the sample right before she did and it ended up being extremely painful. I was in pain for the rest of the appointment and the rest of the day.
The one thing I did like was that I received results very quickly. I hate waiting for results, and she got back to me within a day or two.

Dr. Pang was great because she took her time during the appointment, answered my questions, and helping me pick my best treatment options. During a routine physical, I mentioned that I would be traveling to Africa, and she took the time to make sure I got the proper tablets and vaccines for the trip, even though that was not the purpose of the visit. She even researched prescription prices for me!
