I liked the doctor very much but the office didn't seem very a busy and I still waited for about an hour to see the doctor. I know this is pretty typical but it often feels like a waste of time when there is a minor problem or I simply need a check up.

Dr. Karasina has been my primary care physician for years, and today's visit, as with all the others was efficient, effective, and as enjoyable as possible given that I'm sick. Her office staff are also excellent.

I used to come to see Dr. Karasina whenever I got sick and was a huge fan of the office and Dr's thoroughness during appointments. Today I came and waited 55 minutes from my scheduled appointment time to be seen. Once Dr. Karasina arrived in the room, she seemed uninterested in my health concerns and questions and gave me no suggestions or advice how to move forward. I left confused and disappointed. I will not be returning.

Dr. Karasina was great! She made me feel very comfortable and asked a lot of questions. I was a little nervous about seeing her as a first-time patient, since I found her on the internet rather than through a personal recommendation, but I will definitely go see her again. She was very no-nonsense but clearly interested in learning more about my health history. Very nice. I recommend her!

This office is not compatible with ZocDoc. They do not update their information or receive the information entered by patients on ZocDoc. They had to reschedule my appointment at a huge inconvenience to myself and the families whose children I care for. I also did not appreciate the multiple emails and phone calls to confirm my appointment. I confirmed my appointment 5 separate times and it was still rescheduled. I have had a good experience with ZocDoc in the past. This office needs to either coordinate with ZocDoc or remove themselves from the site.

Although I was taken into the examining room right away, and a nurse came in and performed the various tests needed for my physical, I then wait at least 40 minutes for the doctor.
Upon thinking about my exam, after the fact, I don't think I was given a very "hands on" physical. I feel I was given a cursory listen to my heart and lungs and the doctor never felt my glands, looked in my throat or ears, tested my reflexes. I know these are very basic things, and I did have an EKG, but aren't those things part of a physical?
Also, the doctor didn't seem very probing about two situations that I had experienced several times in the past.
I do like this doctor, but just wish she wasn't so attached to her computer.

I've been going to Yelena Karisina, MD for over a year. She's a great doctor. She's very professional and courteous with great bed side manners. She give encouragement when needed and take time to personally call to discuss any concerns regarding treatment/medication prescribed. The waiting period is less than 15 min. of scheduled appointment. I highly recommend Dr. Yelena Karisna as a family/personal physician.

The visit went well. Speaking of wait time, actually I got to the office early and was taken about 20 minutes before my appointment time. Sometimes I think having appointments at the end of the day works well. If the doctor is through seeing other patients then one has more time to ask questions and to discuss health concerns. Being seen in the middle of the day doctors are often rushed.
