Dr. Yi sheng Kam graduated from Binghamton University with a degree in chemistry, received his doctor degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine at Old Westbury, NY, in 2007. He joined the US Army and completed his family medicine residency at Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center at Fort Gordon, GA. During the time in the military Major Kam served as the Chief of clinic for the Wounded Warrior unit, Battalion Surgeon for 3-85th MTN INF BN, Assistant Chief for Conner Troop Clinic, Battalion Surgeon for Rear Detachment to 10th Combat Aviation brigade, and work in multiple clinic s including urgent care and family medicine clinic at Ft. Drum.
Dr. Kam has been practicing urgent care and family medicine in New York after completing his military service. He is passionate in patient care and focuses in helping patients stay healthy.He is certified by American Family Medicine Board, as well as the Department of Homeland as a Civil Surgeon to provide USCIS medical exam and Department of Transportation to issue DOT physicals.
