Upon graduating from St. Mathew’s University School of Medicine, he completed clinical rotations in various hospitals throughout New York City. He completed his core Surgical Residency Training at Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan, NY, followed by three years of residency training in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PMR) and Interventional Pain Management at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Y. Stoly is doctor of Oriental Medicine and was trained in the College of Health Professions in United States as well as in China. He is licensed in Acupuncture. Dr. Y. Stoly was a professional athlete in the past and also holds a degree in Physical Education and Sport.
Dr. Stoly’s areas of expertise include sports/exercise medicine, interventional pain management, musculoskeletal disorders, and physical and neurological rehabilitation including all necessary electrodiagnostic testings. He is proficient with a variety of injection techniques, including trigger points, intra-articular joint, peripheral nerve blocks, collagen, steroid and Botox injections.
