About Dr. Vincent Miccio
Dr. Vincent Miccio is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Rehabilitation Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine. He is board certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and in Pain Medicine. He specializes in providing comprehensive, patient-centered care for a wide range of painful conditions of the spine, joints, muscles, and nerves using minimally invasive techniques such as fluoroscopically-guided spine procedures, ultrasound-guided peripheral nerve blocks, and neuromodulation. Dr. Miccio believes that every patient deserves a thorough evaluation, an accurate diagnosis, and a personalized treatment plan. The cornerstone of Dr. Miccio's patient care philosophy is to restore function and quality of life through education and targeted intervention. Dr. Miccio received his undergraduate degree from Tufts University where he majored in Asian Studies with a special focus in Buddhism and Japanese language. After two years of working in Japan he went on to receive his medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School. He subsequently completed an internship in internal medicine at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Medical Center (now Mt. Sinai West), followed by a residency training program in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at New York-Presbyterian-Columbia and Cornell, where he served as Chief Resident. He went on to complete a fellowship in Pain Medicine at New York-Presbyterian – Columbia. He lives in South Slope, Brooklyn with his wife and two dogs.

The location is accessible to every mode of transportation, reasonable rate parking is also available. The building obviously new, clean, accessible to all levels of limitations, only the outdoor facility sign is missing so you do not keep walking towards the wrong door (other businesses use the building as well.
Staff was friendly, pleasant, courteous and efficient. I reached on time for my appointment, so my wait was minimal.
Dr. Miccio presented with great bedside manner, listened well, and asked deep and relevant questions. He took time to review my medical chart (1st visit with him), made referrals allowable based in my insurance provider's needs, and provided me with information and documentation to support my needs.
He came highly recommended and I in turn highly recommend him.
Book that appointment with him without hesitation, he'll take care of your needs.

Great listener and communicates well. He listened to everything asked questions, went over my options in details from least to extreme. Even recommended therapy for my finger and told me to choose. The thing that stood out to me was that he was so considerate he could provide the service during my consultation but offered to do it during his lunch brake. Said that it would be nice to come to the doctors office and do everything the same time which he did. So I could get on with my life and baby. I appreciated that the most. The walked me through everything. We need more considerate people like him in the world. Wiltshire I could hug him and said thanks one more time. Not to mention I was a new patient.
