Zachary Lott, MSN, ARNP, AGACNP-BC graduated magna cum laude with an undergraduate degree in nursing from California State University, Long Beach. He holds a Master of Science Degree in Nursing and a Nurse Practitioner Master’s Certificate from California State University, Long Beach. He received his acute care training at the Keck Medical Center of USC and the MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center. He is licensed as a Nurse Practitioner and in Public Health. He is board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care. He is a member of the American Heart Association Council on Lifestyle and Cardiometabolic Health and the National Lipid Association. He holds certifications as a provider of the Bale-Doneen Method and by the Academy of Preventative and Innovative Medicine. NP Lott’s post-graduate education includes an informal fellowship in functional, anti-aging, and regenerative medicine. He was trained in advanced bio-identical hormone replacement therapy by Neal Rouzier, M.D. and trained in heart attack, stroke, and diabetes prevention by Brad Bale, M.D. and Amy Doneen, DNP. He has a background in adult critical care, working at the bedside of the sickest and most unstable patients in the hospital. He was motivated by his critical care experience to find a treatment approach that aims to prevent those under his care from becoming as sick as those he saw in the intensive care unit. NP Lott prevents and treats disease with an integrative approach to holistic care. He understands the importance of diet, exercise, sleep, and hormones in the role of the aging process and in the prevention of disease. Through his approach to wellness, he individualizes treatment to each person under his care with the use of specialized diagnostics, lifestyle management, genetic testing, and both allopathic and complementary medicine. NP Lott is a decorated Marine Corps veteran who completed his service in the Fleet Marine Force with Bravo Company, 1st Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment. He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for valor for his actions in combat in 2003 during Operation Iraqi Freedom. His military career also included two overseas deployments, numerous personal and unit awards, and of multiple specialized training courses. NP Lott gives back to the military community by doing pro bono work for disabled military veterans.
