I was 30 minutes early in anticipation of filling out paperwork as a new patient. Was rushed by the office gal because they were running behind and she wanted to get me checked in and my copay processed. Proceeded to wait for over an hour past my appointment time to be seen by the nurse. Nurse was rushed, broke one of the BP cuffs in the process. The doctor wasn't quite as rushed, but she wasn't as helpful as I had hoped. She required a blood analysis and may still require me to see an OBGYN before prescribing me birth control, but they needed to send one of the blood samples frozen. They don't have the technology for that there, so they sent me straight to the lab. Personally, I know what my body needs, I just needed a new doctor for being new to the area. I want to visit my doctor once or twice a year unless there's an issue and I want them to not make me jump through hoops for birth control. I'm not often off work in the middle of the week to be able to see a doctor that doesn't have weekend availability, so making it harder for me to take care of myself and my needs is frustrating.
