About Dr. Vani Venkatachalam

Dr. Vani Venkatachalam is delighted to see patients at Care & Cure Pediatrics. Affectionately called "Dr. Vani" by her patients, she is an experienced pediatrician, Board Certified in Pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Vani graduated from Andhra Medical College, India, and completed her residency at the Children’s Hospital of Richmond, VCU. After a year of fellowship training at UT Southwestern Medical Center, Children’s Medical Center Dallas in pediatric hematology & oncology, Dr. Vani returned to general pediatrics.
Dr. Vani sees children of all ages, from newborns to young adults (23 years). She enjoys getting to know her patients and their families and wants them to feel at ease and comfortable. She has been recognized as a DFW Child Mom Approved Doc (2020, 2019, 2018) and Living Magazine Top Doc (2020, 2019). Dr. Vani loves the challenge of ever-changing growth and development that makes every age unique in pediatrics. Attached to the special smiles of her young patients and the trust their parents place in her, Dr. Vani strives to deliver outstanding care. Children’s health is her No. 1 priority, whether in-office or virtual. To empower tomorrow’s citizens with a healthy body and mind, Dr. Vani emphasizes preventive health care. She has expertise in treating pediatric conditions such as allergies, asthma, infections, obesity, and has a special interest in behavioral and mental health conditions.
Working to improve healthcare outcomes in the community, Dr. Vani serves on two Texas Medical Association committees. A multilingual physician, she speaks several Indian languages and is fluent in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil.

Very bad experience.Dr did not pay attention or show concern about my child health state.will not go back again.my advice is to find a better provider.
Dr main focus is to charge high price for the visit.

Seriously a great doctor office. Switching my older kids to this doctor. She was amazing. I was skeptical about keeping her because it’s kind of a far drive for me but my twins just got out of the NICU and she was amazing with them. Definitely will be continuing to see this doctor. Highly recommend.
