This was my 1st time visit as a new patient. He's very knowledgeable, approachable, and known in his field. I found him on my own while researching Husky's website to see if his office took my state insurance (thankfully, they did). He was geniunely concerned why I came to see him, asked me what was wrong, what happened to me in the past (previous history), what methods of care/treatment did I undergo already (chiropractic, pain management, physical therapy, any possibly surgeries, X-rays/MRIs, etc.) and then took the time to listen! Although I'm sure Dr. Barbadimos reviewed the paperwork I did online here at ZocDoc & at the office when I arrived at 3:55PM for my 4:00PM appt. (I finished filling out the office paperwork at 4:20PM), in addition to the MRI disc I brought with me, he still talked with me without brushing me off or talking over me, which some doctors tend to do. My MRI disc did NOT have the report on it like Yale New Haven Hospital's Diagnostic Radiology Dept. told me it would, so I need to get the report for that. I also need to get ALL procedure notes from everything I had done with Dr. Rahul S. Anand (CT Pain & Wellness - Fairfield, CT) so on my 2nd appt. with Dr. Barbadimos, I will be able to start my plan-of care!! This will include: Acupuncture, pain injections, etc. I'm SO excited because I've been without any sort of pain management for 2 years, experienced a previous work injury that hurt my mid-lower back, am JUST starting physical therapy again, and eager to gain back a realistic, attainable flexibilty to my life with my back while losing weight and being encouraged with my faith. I highly recommend coming to see Dr. Barbadimos because he is someone I've been praying on to see to help me get better. He gets me, I'm able to ask questions, and this is how a patient/doctor relationship is supposed to be. I am 30 yr. old female, overweight but I carry it well, on the path to losing weight off my frame for health-reasons, involved in physical therapy, and avidly walk/strength-train for endurance & physical fitness.
