Hello,
I'm Aaron Engel. Do you find that you feel more like roommates than romantic partners? Do you sometimes speak different languages? Have there been recent problems with addiction, affairs, or abuse?
Perhaps your relationship is going well, but you want a tune-up or preventative care. You may want pre-engagement or pre-marriage counseling just to ensure you are on the right track. Some couples are on the brink of divorce or separation and need help discovering if they want to make a longer-term commitment to doing everything they can to save the relationship or if they would be better apart.
Clients call me down-to-earth, calm, relatable, and kind. I can be directive when I need to and supportive when either or both make sense. I use the Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and other methods to help you meet your goals.
My best training is being married for 17 years and experiencing and getting through a lot of what my clients face. Having two kids is a great experience in itself.
