Amanda is a Licensed Clinical Social Work Associate who received her Master of Social Work degree from the University of South Carolina. She has experience working in various roles as a mental health practitioner, most recently as a therapist specializing in grief counseling.
Amanda has a passion for helping people work through the hardest seasons of their lives. She believes in a holistic approach to counseling and regularly utilizes Brainspotting and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) in her practice. Amanda emphasizes the importance of providing a nonjudgmental space for counseling. She has experience working with clients of all ages. Her goal is to help clients improve their lives by making sense of life stressors through personal growth and gaining new perspectives.
In her spare time, Amanda enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her dog Pepper. She also enjoys reading, yoga, knitting, and running.
