Amber Lovell (She/Her) LCMHCA
Amber earned her Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from UCLA before completing her Master’s degree in Counselor Education at North Carolina State University. She is provisionally licensed and working on completing her hours to obtain full licensure. Amber’s approach is holistic, person-centered, trauma-informed, strengths-based, collaborative, and rooted in multicultural competence. She specializes in helping clients heal from complex trauma using body-based treatments and has completed Trauma Resiliency Model (TRM) Level 1 training.
Additionally, she has experience working with individuals experiencing anxiety and depression, and navigating significant life transitions. With a background in career counseling, she also helps clients navigate professional challenges and transitions. Outside of her practice, Amber enjoys yoga, outdoor activities, and immersing herself in different cultures.
