What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe in the power of resiliency. It is in each and every human being. Therapy can be a great way to process through life's challenges and mental health symptoms. With psychotherapy, I help clients to find their inner-strength and motivation, allowing them to succeed while working together as a team.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I'm humbled by the work that I do as a Therapist. I take this honor of working with my adult clients seriously. As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), I utilize , EMDR, CBT and Somatic-Based Interventions. As a Certified Grief Counseling Specialist (CGCS), I work in harmony with my clients, exploring interventions that help them process through grief and heal gradually, at their own pace. As a Certified Mindfulness Information Professional (CMIP), I utilize mindfulness modalities such as MBCT and MBSR to assist in healing through trauma, grief, depression and anxiety. Lastly, as a Trained End of Life Doula, I also provide therapeutic supports such as Grief counseling, for those coping with a chronic and/or terminal illness, in need of and/or receiving Palliative Care and/or End of Life care.
