I have absolutely loved working with Ami, and she has definitely raised the bar in terms of what type of care I can hope for/expect in Physical Therapy. Having worked with her for the past 3 months, I have experienced significant improvements in my condition, while continuing to perform 8x/week, due to Ami's commitment to my progress. In my sessions with Ami, she is a great listener, consistently coming up with creative ways to work around my pain while also finding ways for me to get stronger and move forward in my recovery. It is clear that Ami is extremely knowledgable and cares a lot about her work and patients, following up after our sessions to ensure my exercises are working!

I have been hesitate to to schedule pelvic physical therapy for quite some . And now I am so happy that I found Ami. She is brilliant, kind and professional. So patient, knowledgeable and makes you feel so comfortable. She makes it easy to do exercises on your own. I have been working with her for a short time and already feel results. Do not hesitate to see her….she is one of the best!

Always a mover, Ami Kirollos, PT, DPT, CSCS (she/her) grew up dancing to just about anything with a beat. While training in the styles of modern, ballet, and hip hop, Ami became fascinated by the idea of “movement as medicine.” This interest ultimately led her to pursue studies in dance movement therapy as an undergraduate at Indiana University. It was not until her final year, after taking a course in dance injury prevention instructed with the ballet’s physical therapist, that Ami’s plans quickly changed and her journey to becoming a physical therapist began.
Ami received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Emory University School of Medicine. As a physical therapist she has worked in both the in- clinic and backstage settings with performers of all ages and abilities. Additionally, Ami also specializes in treating pelvic floor conditions and has a particular interest in the impact of pelvic floor dysfunction as it relates to the performing artist. Ami has completed advanced training in in dance medicine, pelvic floor therapy, concussion management, osteopathic manual therapy, and Pilates. Ami strives to offers holistic and quality care. She is especially motivated to ensure her patients feel heard and accepted while in her care. Ami strongly believes that individualized treatment, emphasizing education and self-care, is key to her patients’ success and aims to convey this in every treatment.
