Hi there, I'm Angelica, and I want to start by congratulating you on choosing the journey to heal. The decision to face our challenges, heal, and grow is a hard one but by far the most rewarding. My mission is to actively work towards changing the world for the better, one interaction at a time. For me, it is important to treat everyone with respect and compassion.
I hold a Master's in Social Work from Florida International University and have years of experience working with diverse populations experiencing a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, physical and emotional abuse, and active hallucinations and delusions. I have worked with adults and children in school settings, hospitals, jails, juvenile detention centers, and with members of the LGBTQ community. My therapy style is non-judgmental, welcoming, warm, and interactive. I believe in creating an environment where individuals feel important, listened to, empowered, and can heal through vulnerability.
