Anna Athanasoulis is deeply passionate about her work with individuals, couples, and families. She approaches every case with hope and optimism that positive change can occur while also recognizing how biological and social factors contribute to mental health struggles. Every client is unique; therefore, treatment will be tailored to your individual needs and goals. She believes the therapeutic relationship is the best tool to facilitate change and pulls from a variety of evidenced-based practices such as CBT, Psychodynamic, Humanistic, and Family Systems while also utilizing mindfulness-based exercises to better assist the therapeutic process.
Anna graduated from the University of La Verne with a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and has since worked in various community-based agencies and college university clinics treating individuals, couples, and families. Anna specializes in treating trauma/PTSD, sexual abuse, depression, anxiety, and parenting issues, and has experience facilitating adult parenting, trauma, and domestic violence groups.
