This can be a daunting process, and I am here to provide a supportive, non-judgmental space for you as you navigate your well-being. I specialize in anxiety, life transitions, overwhelm, trauma, and Attachment-based work.
My approach
My work is rooted in Existential and Trauma-Informed care, which means I approach every person as a unique individual with the agency to discover meaning in their own life. I utilize a variety of tools that engage the mind/body/spirit. My goal is to help you find relief while simultaneously helping you create new possibilities for your life.
My focus
Do you feel like you've been hit with wave after wave of issues and you can't seem to catch your breath? Are you feeling constantly anxious and overwhelmed with things in your life? I specialize in anxiety and overwhelm, traumatic stress, and Attachment-based issues in Adults. Together, we process the past while building skills for today.
My communication style
My role is to truly listen to you while providing a 'third-party' perspective. I value honest communication that is not hurtful. You can expect from me open and direct communication that is built with kindness, empathy, and boundaries. I believe in modeling healthy communication styles, and you can trust that I will prioritize repair when needed.
My journey to mental healthcare
I was drawn to the profession of counseling from my own journey of healing. Although life often happens to us, I discovered that in each of us, we have the agency to heal what occurred, while also regaining our ability to be active creators of our own lives. Walking alongside clients for years has reinforced this view and motivates my work daily.
