Dr. Arthur Bregman has treated thousands of patients for a variety of mental health issues over the years and now, in a new era of psychiatric healthcare, he's forging ahead with the technology of the day. Now he provides convenient online psychiatry from his South Florida home safely interacting with patients through their own devices.
A psychiatrist with over 40 years of experience, Dr. B (as longtime patients and friends call him) gained unique insight from decades of helping children, adults, and families through many stages of their lives and a variety of mental health challenges.
His accomplishments with patients young and old - from diverse backgrounds - earned him a reputation as one of the premier psychiatrists in the country. In 2012 Dr. B received the “America's Best Doctors” award. Dr. B was the Chief of Psychiatry at Nicklaus Children's Hospital for several decades and now runs his own private psychiatric practice, Bregman Medical Group that offers medication management through Telepsychiatry (Telemedicine).
During the '80s he pioneered an on-site behavioral health system in Miami-Dade, PsychSolutions, sending doctors and therapists to patients without good access. The program was specifically designed for the Florida Department of Children and Families, the juvenile justice system, and schools around the state and it continues to help patients throughout the region.
Fittingly, the development of telepsychiatry is just another step in the direction of innovation for Dr. B.
He's become internationally known through his well-received podcast “The Breakdown with Dr. B,” where he conducts interviews and discusses various mental health topics with co-host Linda Corley.
