Hi, I’m Ashley. I am genuinely here to help you become the best version of yourself. I believe in the power of individual change, growth, and our brain’s ability to adapt to painful experiences. Having gone through some hardships, pains, and gains in this thing we call life, I could be a good fit to help you find your best self. Being a Mexican-American woman from a single-mother household and a first-generation master’s-level graduate, one thing I know is that resilience and hard work are a way of life. I would love to partner with you and help you find your peace and balance on this journey you are on.
As a licensed clinical professional counselor, I earned both my Bachelor’s and MSEd in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. I have committed 10 years of direct service experience with victims of human trafficking and sexual trauma in the community. I’ve received extensive training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and EMDR. I don’t shy away from tough cases, and I have a deep understanding of how interventions really work for my clients. My personal clinical approach is the thread guiding the clinicians at Mood Resilience, where we provide case consultation to ensure the highest quality of care for our clients.
With years of experience and community partnerships in trauma modalities, I provide our team of clinicians ongoing case consultation and staffing to deliver the utmost trauma-informed practices to our clients.
I love to watch mindless reality TV—think anything along the lines of The Bachelor/Bachelorette. You can also find me taking monthly road trips and listening to podcasts with my husband and three mini humans.
