Ashtyn takes an integrative approach to therapy, tailoring her methods to each client's needs. She draws from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), solution-focused therapy, strengths-based therapy, and play therapy. Her goal is to create a safe, authentic space where clients feel empowered to explore their thoughts, emotions, and relationships.
She provides psychotherapy and counseling for adults, adolescents, and children as young as five. Ashtyn helps individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, divorce, and daily stressors. When working with children, she uses play therapy and creative interventions to help them express their feelings, solve problems, and develop healthier interactions.
Outside of work, Ashtyn enjoys staying active, going to the gym, and taking walks with her son. She loves spending time with her family, whether exploring Houston, going on boat rides, or relaxing at home. While she has always loved the beach, she has developed a passion for mountain vacations with her husband. For Ashtyn, any time spent bonding with loved ones is time well spent.
