Ayam De Leon, PT graduated from University of East RMMC in 1997. With over 15 years experience as physical therapist, Ayam is dedicated to making sure that his patients meet their rehabilitation goals. Ayam specializes in orthopedic and pediatric therapy employing his excellent manual therapy skills. Ayam's success comes from being very thorough, attentive and treating not just the symptoms but making sure that his patients are educated so the same injuries don't reoccur.
Practicing in NYC since 1997, Ayam has physical rehab centers in Manhattan, Bronx and Queens. By taking continuing education courses Ayam's goal is to stay on top of current medical advances and applying it to his patients' care. He is currently taking his doctorate program in University of St. Augustine and has a target graduation date of 2015.
Ayam's passion for physical therapy is reinforced by constantly participating in various marathons around the tri-state area with his wife who is also a physical therapist. Seeing orthopedic injuries that could have been prevented drives him to educate people on the right mechanics of the human body.

I saw Ayam four days before the NYC marathon because I was having knee issues. While there was little he could do to heal the knee, he showed me how to tape it, manage the pain, and gave pointers for the lead up and race day. I was able to run the marathon thanks in part to Ayam. I recommend.
