Hi, I'm Ayla. I am a queer, sex-positive, trauma-informed therapist dedicated to helping individuals and partners befriend their nervous system, foster deeper connections with themselves and others, and develop strategies for navigating life challenges.
I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Columbia University, and my background in therapy includes six years of working with young adults and families in an inpatient wilderness therapy program, as well as with a wide range of clients in outpatient settings. I approach therapy from a place of curiosity and connection, drawing on mindfulness, brainspotting, and cognitive-behavioral techniques to create a warm and non-judgmental space for you to authentically explore yourself, your emotions, your unique history, and your goals.
My practice celebrates neurodiverse, gender-diverse, LGBTQIA+, ethically non-monogamous, and kink communities. I am passionate about working with anyone who has been marginalized because of their identities, preferences, or way of being in this world. I look forward to connecting with you on your journey toward emotional, cognitive, physical, and spiritual well-being.
