Hi there, I'm Breana!
My name is Breana Baker-Hush, and I am a licensed clinical social worker. Whether you are experiencing anxiety, stress, life transitions or on the quest for healing and self-improvement, I am motivated to to begin this journey with you. By providing an inclusive and supportive environment that will cultivate insight and self-awareness to help you reach your goals.
My approach
I utilize multiple therapeutic modalities, but my foundation is strengths-based and client-centered. My approach takes into consideration you, the culture, and the systems you are a part of. Based on your identified goals, I will utilize an evidenced-based practice that best supports you in reaching those goals.
My focus
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, life transitions, career demands, self-doubt and low self-esteem, stress, or looking for self-improvement. I am inclusive to all with the specialty of women, BIPOC and POC. I am an LGBTQIA+ ally.
My communication style
While this is a professional collaboration, you will feel like you are working with an old friend. The compassion and support provided will hopefully allow you to feel comfortable, be open and embark on this experience with me.
My journey to therapy
As an LCSW, I have always wanted to be a support and resource to others, especially women, BIPOC & POC. This is my first experience as a licensed therapist, and I am excited and motivated to continue to be a support to clients in this setting. Challenges in life are inevitable, and we all need help at times, and I want to be that for others. Providing support while reminding others of their innate power to handle any challenges they face to create the life they desire makes this worthwhile.
