I saw Mr. Zayman weekly for approximately 6 months. Each appoinment lasted an hour. I began feeling better after meeting a couple of months with him. I also began walking 3 miles per day for 5 times a week. I really believe that helped a lot along with the counseling I received. I have built up to walking 5 to 7 miles per day now. After meeting with Mr. Zayman for 3 months or more, I began to feel more confident with myself & learning to deal with what I was going through. He was very courteous & professional. I highly recommend him if someone needed counseling.
Brian is an empathetic and competent therapist with the skills to help a person discover ways to improve their lives and themselves. Brian helped me understand and learn new ways to think and behave, solving a problem I had struggled with my entire life. Change is not easy, but it is worth the challenge, and Brian provided understanding and a path to help me positively change my life.

More about Brian Zayman, LCSW

Thank you for considering me as your therapist. Before continuing to read my profile, please know that I do talk therapy only; that is, I do not prescribe medications. For this, please find a PA, MD, or psychiatric RN. Also, my practice is private-pay only I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, with 23 years of experience delivering psychotherapy to individuals and couples, from teens to the elderly. I try to work with clients in a manner that is compassionate, supportive, non-judgemental, open and transparent. I always welcome questions, comments, and feedback from my clients, as this will help me to better help them. Some of the issues I have treated are depression, anxiety, work and/or personal issues, addictions, OCD, bipolar disorder, identity issues, low self-esteem, and trauma history, among many others. Flexibility of approach is central in my work. I have a significant number of abilities and skills in therapy, among them psychodynamic work, Eastern energy work (chi kung), breathing techniques, cognitive-behavioral work (although I do not work exclusively in this), coaching style work, ego-support, and grounding, among others. I always tailor my style and approach to what you and I decide may be the best way to deal with your issues, and of course this is always subject to change and modification.

Brian was one of my very first therapy experiences. I would highly recommend him to anyone. He has a holistic and flexible approach that can fit anyone and gives practical advice that sets you on the right path.
Brian met with my daughter, who was 9 years old at the time, during the late Fall of 2020. It was the height of “Covid School” and my daughter was very unhappy. She started having some anxiety and so her pediatrician recommended therapy. My daughter and Brian met over a couple of months, once a week by zoom.It was enormously helpful for her to have another trusted adult to talk to. He gave her some tools to help her manage her anxiety during such uncertain and crazy times.
Brian is a true professional with the experience to prove it. He is thorough, kind and uses all the right techniques to help one through their thought processes. I can honestly say that I have completely changed my way of thinking about every issue encountered because of his deep dive into the triggers that cripple me daily. He is very in tune with his clients and is committed to overall well-being. I am glad I found Brian!
Brian is great at looking at things from an objective stance. He helped me analyze my issues logically and helped me figure out solutions that actually helped the underlying issue.
It’s always great talking with Brian! He makes it easy and I felt comfortable no matter the situation. He really helped me during a tough part of my life.
Brian was very helpful and easy to talk to. He led me through resolving my issues with kindness, patience, and intention. Thank you Brian!
