Terryn Maher is a LCMHC with over 10 years of experience working in enhanced levels of mental health care. Terryn completed her Master of Arts in Community Counseling at the University of North Carolina - Charlotte. In addition to her MA, she also completed a graduate certificate in play therapy, a specialized therapeutic approach often utilized for children in the 2.5 to 10-year-old range who may not be able to verbalize and process their issues utilizing traditional talk therapy, due to developmental understanding. Terryn has also completed multiple trauma-related trainings to become a certified clinical trauma professional (CCTP), allowing her to provide trauma-informed care to all of her clients. Terryn is willing to work alongside you in your therapeutic journey and meet you where you are at, while also providing the insight and coping strategies you need to grow and heal.
