I look forward to my next appointment with Ms Maruccia. Our first appointment gave me some insight into my trouble in relationships. She also helped me with some of my anxiety/depression. I felt relief leaving her office. I highly recommend.

More about Camille Maruccia, LCSW
I have recently moved my office to the Upper East Side. I have worked extensively with adults, adolescents and couples for more than 25 years. In that time I have helped many people treating a a variety of problems, including anxiety, depression, low self esteem, marital difficulties, job loss, eating disorders, parent child conflicts to name a few. Psychotherapy is best conducted in a warm and supportive environment in which the person feels understood and listened to. My style is down to earth, compassionate and warm.
I have many years training as a psychotherapist and will be able to assess how to help you. I received my Masters in Social Work at Columbia University and completed my analytic training at the Contemporary Freudian Society. I remain active in the mental health community.
I commend you on taking the first step to seek help as it takes a certain amount of courage. The best way to see if we click is by making an appointment and meeting in person. I will be able to assess how I can help you.
Just a couple of words about setting up our initial appointment. It is best to have a brief phone conversation before we meet. I will call you to confirm the appointment. At that time, we can also discuss fees and I can answer some of your questions. I do have some flexibility in my fees and I am able to accept payment through your insurance company if you have an out-of-network benefit. I would need to call the insurance company to verify coverage before the consultation session.
