Getting to know Candice Brenneman

I am well-versed in military-specific issues, having contracted at various installations for six years and maintained a private practice in a military community for over seven years. Most of my clients are active duty service members, veterans, and/or spouses of active duty personnel. I hold a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University. I am EMDR basic trained and use tough skills with anxious and traumatized clients. Many of my clients face relationship challenges stemming from past traumas that have not been fully processed. I take a strength-based approach, providing support and practical feedback to help clients address personal life challenges. As a systemic thinker, I view life as a network of relationships, where each individual within the relationship is an integral participant in the "whole" system. Most "individual" or "couple" issues affect the entire family system.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
