Cara is excellent to work with. In addition to generally being warm and kind, she is very intuitive and works to help you figure out your own diverse path to your goals rather than grouping you into a plan involving a single treatment method. You can tell she genuinely cares about her clients and has a passion for what she does. Highly recommend.

I help empower adults to create meaningful change in their lives. Through our work together, you will be able to live a more full, authentic, and genuine life free from the past and grounded in the present. I specialize in helping adults who are struggling with anxiety, life transitions, relationship concerns, mood regulation, womens' issues, feeling depressed, lonely, or stuck.
I have a strong background in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy(CBT), which I will incorporate in our work together to help you find self-acceptance while working toward your goals. Therapy is the place where we find new options and make lasting change. Through our weekly meetings we will increase your awareness about the struggles that keep you stuck and take positive steps to overcome them.
I hold a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling and Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master’s degree in Counseling and Human Relations from Villanova
University. Previously, I was the coordinator of the co-occurring adult intensive
outpatient department at one of the largest mental health centers in Pennsylvania.
Starting therapy takes vulnerability and courage. I look forward to taking part in your journey!

Cara is great. She helps you address the issues you want to address, highlights things you may not have thought of, and works with you in the things you would like to improve.

Cara is really easy to talk to and provides a lot of helpful insight. I felt comfortable talking to her from the get go, which is hard to find. During therapy, I felt like I was talking to a friend.

Meeting with Cara was very comfortable for me. She is approachable and I found it easy to relate to her and the issues that we discussed. Cara is very professional and I found it to be easier to be honest with her about issues that are hard to discuss or may be embarrassing, than it has been in the past with another therapist. She does not judge you or the issues you bring to work on, she is there to help her clients progress and learn how to live their best lives. Although she will hold you accountable, she is not pushy with issues you are working on or suggestions she may have made. She will also determine what works best for the individual client, rather than what works for the majority.
