Hello, I’m Carol Chung, and I am a 2nd generation Korean- American. I am fluent in Korean, conversational in Spanish, and learning French. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and a Master of Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania. I studied abroad at Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea, and recently earned a certificate from the UCLA Social Emotional Arts Program. I am trained in several trauma-informed, evidence-based treatment modalities endorsed by the California Center for Infant-Family and Early Childhood Mental Health, emphasizing zero to five population resilience.
My role is to hold space for you to process, reflect, and explore parts of your life that you want to change. I believe in a whole-person approach and that we will work together to meet your goals. When not working, I enjoy running, hiking, singing, dancing, gardening, cooking, and making new friends to promote community resilience.
