The therapeutic process allows individuals to share their story in a safe, healing environment. I believe that everyone has a unique story that deserves to be heard. My priority is to make therapy a safe place for my clients to express their genuine thoughts and feelings, without fear of judgement.
Therapy is a collaborative process and I aim to work alongside my clients every step of the way. Together, we will identify challenges, gain insight, and work towards an improved well-being. My goal is for clients to leave our time together with greater clarity, confidence, and the desire and capability to live to their fullest potential.
I earned my B.A. in Psychology from Boston College, and then worked administratively in a community mental health clinic. This led me to pursue my M.S.Ed. in Mental Health Counseling from Fordham University. I completed my training at an eating disorder treatment center, where I worked with groups and individuals using a combination of cognitive behavioral and mindfulness techniques. My background has allowed me to work with a diverse clientele and a variety of populations, experience I will use in my work going forward.
