Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago, on two different units, the Outpatient Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and on the Inpatient Psychiatry Unit. This is where Carrie focused on individual, family, and group therapy services.
Carrie has a non-judgmental, trauma-focused, mindfulness based, client centered approach. She utilizes evidence-based practices primarily working within the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Models, with a view to helping children, adolescents and young adults obtain the skills necessary to become healthy and happy adults. She provides tailored treatment plans to meet the individual needs of her clients. She provides a safe, caring, and confidential environment for clients to explore their feelings, beliefs, and behaviors, identify areas of their lives needing change, gain self-awareness, empowerment, and understanding of others, set personal goals, and work toward desired change.
