Carson is the reason for my score. The office is a challenge to get to by car. It requires bridge tolls per visit, since I'm coming from NJ. But Carson listens and treats accordingly. She looks for best means to relieve my symptoms and improve my ability to breathe and move.

Carson draws on her background as a yoga and meditation teacher, personal trainer, and group fitness instructor, as well as her training in Pilates and experience working in multidisciplinary healthcare teams, to provide comprehensive, individualized, holistic treatment of the whole self. She integrates principles of postural alignment, breathwork, and mindful movement gleaned from her yoga practice and training into her work as a physical therapist to help patients foster a deeper connection and balance within the entire body, mind, and spirit. Carson's mission is to provide a safe, open space where she can guide her patients toward greater understanding and awareness of their bodies and movement patterns, empowering them with the tools they need to live healthier, happier lives and feel at home in their bodies. She is passionate about educating and advocating for conscious pelvic care and normalizing discussions around pelvic function, chronic pain, and the mind-body connection.
Carson earned both her Doctor of Physical Therapy and Bachelor's degrees from Ithaca College. Originally from Syracuse, NY, she is now a proud Brooklynite. Outside of work, she enjoys biking and running around the city, swimming in the ocean, skiing in the mountains, and dancing along to live music.
We are out of network because it allows us to provide better care. Patients receive a full hour of one-on-one treatment without being passed off to aides. Treatment plans are tailored to your needs, not dictated by insurance requirements. We focus on functional goals that improve your life?not industry minimums set by insurance providers. For all these reasons, we choose to remain out of network. Our internal billing staff will work with you to submit claims on your behalf and guide you through your options.

My therapist is a good listener and knowledgeable. She adapts her recommendations to fit my circumstances. I don’t feel rushed during sessions. Extremely important to have a whole hour so we can really accomplish something.

My two sessions so far have been fascinating and helpful. Looking forward to seeing if I find pain relief thru pelvic floor PT. I wish more women had access to it. Only reason itâ??s not a 10 is cost. Itâ??s so expensive. And I donâ??t have a lot of friends and family that would go out of network and into debt for it.

The physical therapy is great, but the administration leaves something to be desired. They demand full up front payment and then incorrectly bill me a non Medicare rate which has to be corrected every session.
