I am so happy you are here!! Thank you for taking this important step to enhancing your mental and emotional well being. I am Chaka Khan (yes like the singer) Theus. I am a culturally sensitive, passionate, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California. I received my BA from University of California Irvine, MBA from Strayer University of Maryland, and my Master of Social Work (MSW), from Morgan State University in Baltimore, MD.
I have dedicated the majority of my career to treating adolescents, adult men, and women with mental and emotional disturbances. I have worked collaboratively with community organizations, physicians, psychiatrists, nurses, and other clinical social workers and have provided individual and group therapy sessions.
My goal is to empower individuals to take control and be in control of their own personal mental health. I have worked with a host of maladies including Maternal Health, Drug and Alcohol Prevention and Recovery, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, anxiety, depression, phobias, grief and loss, change of phase of life issues, Dissociative Identity Disorder, social and racial identity issues, and adult ADHD.
