Hello! My name is Cherrilyn Garcia, and I am a passionate Doctor of Physical Therapy. With over two decades of experience, I have had the privilege of transforming lives through my work. In 2014, I earned my Doctorate Degree, further enhancing my skills and knowledge.
Throughout my career, I have been fortunate enough to explore different areas of physical therapy, including sports medicine, orthopedics, neurological rehab, and home health. Regardless of the specialization, my approach has always been rooted in the power of manual therapy and functional movement. I firmly believe that exercise alone may not always be sufficient for recovery. There are often underlying factors such as faulty alignment, adhesion, improper muscle sequencing, or fear of movement that can hinder progress. By incorporating a hands-on approach, I address these barriers and guide my patients towards daily movement and exercise with renewed confidence.
I am deeply grateful to every patient who has entrusted me with their journey. Their strength and determination inspire me to continually expand my knowledge and refine my techniques. I actively participate in both in-person and online courses, and stay updated with the latest research and advancements in the field through various literature and journals.
My guiding principle is based on the belief that we can enhance abilities beyond disabilities. I am dedicated to helping my patients overcome pain and weaknesses, empowering them to return to their cherished activities through attentive care and customized exercise programs. I am thrilled to be a part of their success stories, and I look forward to walking alongside each and every one of them on their path to recovery.
