Chris previously served as a Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC-T) in New York, where he provided individual and group counseling, treatment planning, relapse prevention support, and comprehensive assessments in a clinical recovery setting. His work is grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and personalized treatment planning.
In addition to his clinical background, Chris brings over 20 years of experience coaching athletes and working closely with families and young people. This unique combination of counseling and coaching experience allows him to connect deeply with clients around motivation, discipline, emotional regulation, self-esteem, and navigating pressure or uncertainty.
Chris strives to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes. Whether someone is facing anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, substance use concerns, performance-related pressure, or major life transitions, his goal is to help clients gain clarity, strengthen emotional resilience, and move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.
Chris holds a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and is credentialed as a CASAC-T in New York State.
