I have experience and highly value working with Queer (LGBTQIA+), Latinx/First-Generation, poor, BIPOC, and other marginalized folx from adolescence through adulthood. I have worked with survivors of complex and acute trauma, and with clients experiencing - among others - symptoms of anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, obsessive thoughts, relationship challenges, perfectionism, people pleasing, and isolation. I hope that working with me feels genuine, fulfilling, and comfortable. I hope that, in our work, we will better understand the connectedness between you and your unique environment - and the ways the latter continuously impacts your day-to-day life, from start-to-finish, and in all areas.
My hope, in you working with me and me with you, is that we truly find ways to work WITH one another. Therapy is, first and foremost, a collaborative process, and I rely on each client to be the expert in their own experiences, feelings, truths, lives, etc. I aim to create a space that is warm, safe, and feels free of judgment.
