Hi, I’m Crystal Johnson, MA, LPC, a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Georgia. I specialize in helping individuals navigate depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and the emotional demands of school, work, and parenting. My goal is to provide a warm, supportive space where you feel heard, empowered, and equipped to manage life’s challenges.
I offer therapy that’s relational, trauma-informed, and individualized. I integrate evidence-based practices like CBT, DBT, psychodynamic, and somatic techniques to meet your unique needs—whether you want to develop coping tools or explore deeper patterns.
I earned my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Richmont Graduate University and hold a Certificate in Trauma Counseling. I’ve supported clients across the lifespan in settings including Atlanta Counseling Center, Savannah College of Art and Design, Kaleidoscope Family Therapy, and Hope Counseling Center.
I have a strong focus on Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) and academic or professional burnout, especially among graduate and healthcare students. I also specialize in perinatal and postpartum mental health, and have led support groups for new mothers. My advanced training includes certifications from Postpartum Support International and the Policy Center for Maternal Mental Health.
I’m a member of Postpartum Support International, Georgia Association for Infant Mental Health, and several local consultation groups to ensure my work remains collaborative and current.
Currently, I offer telehealth sessions for clients in Georgia. Whether you’re facing burnout, grief, relationship strain, or life changes, therapy can help you reconnect with yourself and feel more grounded. I’d be honored to support you.
