I believe that the best therapy outcomes are arrived with dialogue between client and therapist using integrative theories of psychotherapy and other methods of therapy that address client's needs as they occur. My clients appreciate that I listen to their concerns and compassionately guide them toward desired change. My philosophy is based on the knowledge that the individual has the skills and tools to achieve desired outcomes, and my role is to help the individual to access, practice and use those skills and tools.
I use mindfulness-based approach with Interpersonal Neurobiology using the latest brain research. I use sand therapy for children and adults, and sound therapy for relaxation. I am trained in Play therapy for children and families. I treat anxiety, anger management issues, relationship difficulties, and people with ADHD or are on the Autism Spectrum.
I work at making therapy affordable for people who might not otherwise be able to see a private practice therapist because of low income or insurance problems.

These visit keep me grounded. They have allowed me a place to truely release what is in my mind before thoughts get overwhelming that would lead to me being in a non-functioning place. I have a family so Cyndy has been an integral part in the health of my family by keeping me grounded.
