Everyone is very pleasant, accommodating, and professional at Beyond Basics ! The desk staff is welcoming and make it easy to schedule appointments according to your needs. The Physical Therapist Ekta Lund who is working with me is very knowledgeable and works specifically with my needs. She addresses all my questions thoroughly, making sure that I understand the exercises completely verbally as well as with print outs and photos. She is kind and patient and makes me feel comfortable . The environment is clean and private . The experience is overall very relaxing and helpful. Thank you staff and Ekta Lund!

A firm believer in holistic approach, Ekta comes from a strong orthopaedic manual therapy background with clinical experience in outpatient settings working with clients of all age groups from paediatrics, to adults and geriatrics!
After graduating from University of Pittsburgh's (Yes, she loves the Steelers!) elite physical therapy program, Ekta got interested in the IPA (Institute of Physical Arts) model and became a certified manual therapist (CFMT). She is one of few certified IPA therapists and regularly utilizes this treatment approach in all aspects of her care.
Ekta gained interest in pelvic floor physical therapy through her experiences with patients; and saw the link between pelvic health and musculoskeletal diagnoses. She utilizes this approach to broaden her treatments to aid a wide variety of patients.
Ekta continues to explore manual therapy through visceral mobilization techniques and uses yogic breathing sciences to help patients.
Ekta loves cooking, hiking and is an avid runner. She has also participated in a few half marathons and her last hike was a fourteener at Mt Elbert in Colorado.
We’re out of network because it means we can give you better care. Patients are seen for a full hour, one-on-one, without passing them off to aides. Treatment plans are based on your needs, not the needs of your insurance plan. And we work towards functional goals that improve your life—not industry minimums set by insurance providers. For all these reasons, we choose to remain out of network. Our internal billing staff will work with you to submit claims on your behalf and walk you through your options.

I have been blown away by Dr. Lund. She is like a wizard! I've been looking for real relief from my TMJ pain for years and she is the first person to truly and very quickly help me. Her hands in work is unlike anything I've experienced and has helped me with issues I didn't realize were related or could be addressed. I am so grateful to have found her.
