Elizabeth completed her Bachelor of Science at Stony Brook University and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Touro University on Long Island. Throughout her educational journey, she has always had a strong interest in orthopedics, sports medicine and neurology. During her five clinical rotations, she has addressed functional limitations related to chronic pain, neurological deficits, balance impairments, vestibular therapy, return-to-play protocols for concussion management, orthopedic injuries for a variety of athletes, pre- and post-operative care for total joint replacements and reconstructive surgeries. Elizabeth is also a co-author of two manuscript publications, accepted by the Prosthetics & Orthotics International Journal and the Journal of Disability and Rehabilitation. She was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, and began training in the art of classical ballet at the age of 4 till her teenage years. Ballet sparked her love for movement, propelling her interest in other recreational sports, such as snowboarding at Lake Placid with her family and hiking National Parks with her friends. Elizabeth also served as the President of both the men’s and women’s club volleyball team at Stony Brook University and worked as a head intramural volleyball referee. Elizabeth believes that movement can make a significant positive impact on one’s quality of life and aims to empower others to better understand their unique anatomy and gain confidence in their physical capabilities. During her free time, Elizabeth enjoys weightlifting, running, yoga, rock climbing, golf and pickleball. She loves spending time with family, trying new restaurants, traveling and listening to podcasts.
