Michael earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Marist College. Prior to receiving his Doctorate, he completed his Bachelor of Science in Health Studies from the University of Utica. During his undergraduate career, Michael played Division III baseball for the University of Utica as a relief pitcher. Following the completion of his Bachelors, Michael served as an assistant pitching and strength & conditioning coach for his alma mater. Michael currently trains several individuals in-person and remotely whose goals range from bettering their levels of health and wellness to increasing their performance as high-level athletes. Michael’s interest in Physical Therapy first began during high school while rehabbing through injuries that occurred while playing sports in school. Throughout his clinical rotations, Michael spent the majority of his time in the orthopedic outpatient setting where he was able to learn from a vast spectrum of professionals, each who came with their own variety of approach to treating patients. He was able to learn various methods of manual therapy, in-depth therapeutic exercise methodologies and progressions, and strategies to provide effective and efficient patient education. Michael practices a patient centered approach that emphasizes empowering the patient to take control of the treatment process through educating them on their condition/injury and the reasoning behind the plan of care.
