I am a warm, caring therapist with a sense of humor and extensive experience in private practice. I specialize in helping people with problems resulting from anxiety, depression and relationship difficulties at work and in couples. I focus on helping people by seeing the world through their eyes. I have helped adults, adolescents and couples overcome their problems for more than 35 years in individual, group and couples therapy. I am a Fellow of the American Group Psychotherapy Association, an American Psychotherapy Association Diplomate, a member of the New York State and American Psychological Associations, and Eastern Group Psychotherapy Association.
In treatment, I help people discover how previous relationships influence current interactions. Then, a client can begin to change his or her behavior. For those interested in supervision, I have advanced Certificates in Individual Psychotherapy, Group Psychotherapy and Supervision.
I was a senior supervisor and teacher at the Postgraduate Center for Mental Health and currently am on The Postgraduate Psychoanalytic Institute and Training Institute for Mental Health Faculties. I supervise at the National Institute for the Psychotherapies, City University and Yeshiva University and am a Star trained life coach.
