Dr. Glick Baker is a New York State licensed clinical psychologist with specialized training in couples therapy and geropsychology, however her practice serves adults of all ages with a particular focus on individuals in early adulthood. Although her main areas of clinical expertise include anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and issues related to substance use, she has extensive experience working with individuals who present with a wide range of concerns. Dr. Glick Baker is particularly interested in working with individuals as they navigate life’s many transitions--into and out of jobs, relationships, and family structures--and as they manage issues of identity. Dr. Glick Baker completed her doctorate in clinical psychology at Yeshiva University’s Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology, and she holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Columbia University. Prior to working in private practice in New York City, she completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy at the William Alanson White Institute. Some of her prior experience includes positions at Jacobi Medical Center, CUNY Baruch College’s Counseling Center, Long Island Jewish Medical Center, and Bronx Psychiatric Center.
